ARTIST STATEMENT
I live in the Pacific Northwest where there is so much natural beauty to celebrate - I will always have something new to paint! I like to combine what I see with the feelings it evokes - the best way I have of communicating and the essence of impressionism.
If I had to describe why I love painting in one word, it would be "color". Finding new ways to experiment with variations of color and color combinations is what draws me to back to my easel every day.
